In New Hampshire this week to drum up support for his promised presidential run, Miami Mayor Francis Suarez offered up his personal cellphone number — and everyone ate it up.

“I’m going to do something radical,” Suarez said, speaking at an event at St. Anselm College in Goffstown, NH. “I did this in Iowa and people kind of freaked out. The cameras are on, so it may be broadcast, so it’s even more radical. But I’m going to give you my personal cellphone number.”

He told reporters there that it is that kind of personal access that will help bridge the political and social division the country has seen in the last few years.

Well, here’s the spoiler: Suarez doesn’t have to pick up. And he won’t if he doesn’t like what you have to say.

Ladra is tired of calling Baby X and leaving a messages or texting him and getting zero response in return. In fact, it’s been exactly since March 27 of 2021 since Mayor Suarez last responded to a text. Political Cortadito wanted to post something about an upcoming three-day trade mission to Qatar — he must have loved it because he went back with David Beckham last year for the World Cup — and asked for a few minutes of his time. He said his spokeswoman, Soledad Cedro, would call me and schedule something.

She never did.

Suarez used to talk to Ladra all the time, going back to when he was a commissioner. He was happy to be quoted when he was fighting with Commissioner Joe “Pollo” Carollo — or, rather, begging to be respected — and trying to get City Attorney Victoria “Tricky Vicky” Mendez fired. Ah, the good ol’ days.

But somewhere around when former Chief Art Acevedo was being handed his nalgas by the city commission, Baby X — who brought the “Michael Jordan of police chiefs” to Miami from Houston with a lot of brouhaha — lost his spine.

But, hey, if he’s going to offer his phone number to the Granite Staters, the people of Miami that he is supposed to be serving now should have it, too. After all, he wants to be accessible.

So, call Mayor Francis Suarez at 305-992-3342 and tell him what he should be doing in Miami.

  1. So how does this work to access texts and calls when making public records requests? How does one differentiate between city business and “personal”? It seems it’s a way to hide records in the open. He could potentially redact everything.

  2. I called him to share some of my Hialeah jokes so he could use them when he campaigns , jokes which I was prohibited from saying by my Aunt and Mother at my cousins wedding .

This one is appropriate for all ages .

Jose – ‘ A toast to the new couple Guillermo and Maria , I must say I was surprised to learn that Maria was from Hialeah and say this because she doesn’t have any tattoos ‘.

My other cousin in the audience would then yell out – ‘ Oh she has tattoos alright you might be the only guy in Miami who hasn’t seen them ‘

  3. Lol yes he is a BS scammer but most politicos here are

    He is the Bitcoin idiot.

If you watch Fox and CNN ( I know most do not watch both ) during the COVID shut down he would be on both networks within the hour saying two completely different things.

If you watch Fox you would see him saying that he was completyely against the shut down and trying to get Gimenez to lift it .

An hour later he would be on CNN saying the shut down was needed and he supported it.

  4. Baby X reminds me of the Succession’s hopelessly unqualified eldest son character Connor Roy vainly struggling for a fractional percentage of recognition in the presidential polls.

  5. I think he made the wise decision. Deal with Carollo and the commission on a daily basis, a no win situation, or raise his profile as COVID survivor, President of the League of Mayors, Miami tech promoter, business booster, Presidential contender, etc. Realistic and politically smart.

  6. This guy. This “Miami Bro” is going to take people on a scam ride. He will open a presidential campaign account, squeeze as many people as possible for a few million dollars in campaign donations, knowing he has no chance in hell in winning. But with his forever federal PAC, he will live off of that money as his sole source of income. BS scammer. Always has been, always will be.

  7. Baby Mayor is scared of his own shadow. Joe Carollo and Alex DLP and wicked Christine King abuse the crap out of taxpayers and citizens and Baby Mayor doesn’t say boo.

  8. Francis for dog catcher, but only after he repays the loss of crypto he caused for City and the bobo’s that follow him!!
Has never really governed anything as Miami is a City Manager form of government and he thinks he can be POTUS?
Imagine what Putin or Xi would do with him who has never been able to control/manage el Loco Carollo???
