George P. Bush and buddies end their MavPAC bus tour in downtown Miami this afternoon, at the Wolfson campus of Miami Dade College.
Bush and Jay Zeidman co-founders of the Maverick PAC — which aims to engage young voters and recruit fresh Republican blood — started the tour on Monday, visiting college campuses in Tallahassee, Gainesville, Orlando, Tampa and West Palm Beach, the latter being this morning before the bus ends up in Miami.
Florida is again the focus of both candidates as we head into the final 45 days before the election. “Our goal is to rally those voters who are unhappy with the way things are going in America and who are open to a change in leadership. We want to get out and share the Republican story to those that want to listen,” Ziedman said.
MavPAC National co-chair George P. Bush, son of former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, wants “young Republicans to band together to make an impact on the direction of this country.” He will be firing them up today at 3 p.m. at the downtown college campus, 300 NE 2nd Ave.
“This next-generation of youth is the group that will be most directly impacted from the upcoming election.”
Some of those young Republicans in Miami will join Bush and buddies at Segafredos Brickell right after the rally at Miami Dade.
