Just because the second Democratic primary debate isn’t in Miami doesn’t mean that Miami isn’t into the debate. In fact, there are almost as many watch parties to choose from as there are candidates.
So get together with friends and like-minded voters to watch Sens. Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders finally get into it on Day 1 Tuesday night, or hear what Vice President Joe Biden has rehearsed for Sens. Kamala Harris or Cory Booker on Day 2 Wednesday night.
For Tuesday, Day 1:
- Pinecrest Councilwoman Anna Hockhammer (right), who is running for Florida Senate in District 39 to replace the termed out Anitere Flores, and State Rep. candidate Javier Estevez, who lost last year to Ana Maria Rodriguez but is registered to run again in 2020, have said they would be at Vela Mayor Tapas & Bar, 10648 Foutainebleau Blvd., from 6:30 p.m., at the event hosted by the Hispanic Democratic Caucus.
