Attention, Little Miss Ultra! This video was made for you!

And just in time for the primary, too!

The Miami-Dade Commission on Ethics and Public Trust is selling a three-disc set of its Political Campaign Ethics ethics commissionConference held earlier this year. It’s like a crash course in government accountability and integrity and includes segments on absentee ballot fraud, campaign consultants, elections investigations, phantom contributors, handling media coverage and the use of ethnic, racial and sexual innuendo in campaigns.

Call now! And you’ll also get a review of Florida’s historic ballot problems: “Bush v. Gore – Could it Happen Again?”

Speakers include Justice Gerald Kogan, former U.S. Attorney Kendall Coffey, former Congressman Lincoln Diaz-Balart, journalist Helen Ferre, Former State Sen. Dan Gelber, former Miami-Dade Commissioner and Miami Beach City Manager Jimmy Morales, veteran political consultant Irene Secada, former Miami-Dade Commissioner Katy Sorenson, former Miami Mayor and Miami-Dade Commissioner Xavier Suarez, Miami Herald political reporters Mark Caputo and Patricia Mazzei, and many others.

But, you know, attorney Ben Kuehne — who is representing former Miami Lakes Mayor Michael “Muscles” Pizzi — and former State Rep. JC Planas, who is now an attorney for hire that tries to silence bloggers like Ladra for strongarm tyrant politicos like Miami Beach Mayor Phil Levine. Oh, and gypsy con-artist Vanessa Brito, who we all know is a lying scam artist. Maybe her session is called “How to Make Third Party Confirmation Groups Look Legit.”

Next thing we know is Miami’s Assistant City Attorney Veronica “Little Miss Ultra” Diaz investigated for steering business to her sleazy boyfriend’s lawfirm and taking complimentary VIP tickets to the Ultra Music Festival — will be speaking at a session called “How to Say No to Illegal Gifts.” Or, wait, maybe a double feature with: “How to Allude to Endorsements You Don’t Have.”

Anyway, the three-disc set for $75 may be worth it for some people. Especially attorneys, who earn eight hours of Continuing Legal Education credits required by the Florida Bar – including three ethics credits! Not even sure how that works. Will the attorneys be quizzed later on the content? Will they have to check in when they start watching and punch out when they stop?

But maybe the commission ought to add a “call now” bonus. Oh, I know! Call now and you also get a free template to create your own absentee ballot requests!
