Every year, lobbyist Jorge Luis Lopez and his wife Marile take photos with Miami-Dade Mayor Carlos Gimenez and his wife, Lourdes, at the mayor’s 
ball. But Ladra hasn’t seen a photo of them taken together from Saturday’s black tie event benefiting United Way.
Maybe he knows Ladra would use it.
The photo we did see of Lopez in a Facebook album on the affair was with his wife and two stepsons from his wife’s previous marriage, Andres Raul and Carlos Gabriel Perez Puente — and all three are wearing and proudly showing off the Miami Heat championship rings from the last three NBA titles.
Guess mom will get to wear one if they win a fourth?

But what on Earth is Lopez doing with these rings anyway? Did he score the three-pointer that won the game? Did he play at all? Well, yeah, maybe he did… at County Hall. Is this part of his “performance payment” for getting Micky Arison, the richest man in Florida, his sweetheart deal — recently made even sweeter — for the Miami Heat to operate and maintain the AmericanAirlines Arena at the expense of taxpayers?
Does Gimenez get a ring? Did Miami Mayor Tomas Regalado get a ring?
And, if they’re just passing them out, I want one, too.
